Thompson Creek Organics is a small, family owned orchard located in Southern Oregon's Applegate Valley We are certified organic by the Oregon Tilth and offer organic apples, organic apple cider to local markets, restaurants, and growers markets in Ashland, Medford and Grants Pass. We grow many different varieties of apples and a few pears in our six acre orchard. Our annual harvest yields approximately eighty thousand pounds of apples.

At Thompson Creek Organics, we refuse to pick our apples until they have fully ripened on the trees. We refrigerate every bin of fruit as it is harvested so each apple stays as crisp, sweet and fresh as the day it came off the tree.

GraftingWhat do we do when we want to grow different types of apples? We make new trees! Our orchard has an abundant planting of Red Delicious apples, they are very delicious and make fantastic cider, but we wanted to expand our offerings. Ginger Gold apples are a very early maturing sweet variety that will allow us to attend the grower's markets earlier and with a more varied selection of fruit. |
